The unit contains 497 chips, mainly of the military TTL 54xx series. Statistics of
the date codes printed on the chips of the 15 processor PCBs of unit number 129 looks
like this:

Conclusion: Unit manufactured in or after 1983!


The following gives a survey on the different chips used in the PEC. Since 6/17/2008 all chips used in the
whole unit are identified!
The first four are custom chips made by CMC in Canada (MFR90073). But since they
where only made a very short period of time, CMC was not able to supply any information. Instead comments
from people on the WEB and measurements on the chips revealed their purpose/contents:
